I recently experienced the love of Jesus while wrestling with uncertain things.
Wrestling may be too weak a word for the battle that was raging in my heart.
At times, the fear of not knowing how things would play out overwhelmed and consumed me. I became obsessed with knowing.
It was in the darkness of this obsession that Jesus met me. Reminding me that He was for me, not against me. The uncertainty was a gift from Him meant to drive me deeper into His love.
Knowing what was coming my way would never free me from the fear of it. Only knowing who was with me in the unknown ever could.
I am certain that this is not the last time I will deal with uncertain things. I am thankful that the love of Jesus always wins.
