Advent Joy: Joy is Birthed in the Fires of Forgiveness

Joy is birthed in the fires of forgiveness—a forgiveness found only in Jesus.

We often turn to the tangible—the comforting presence of loved ones, the serene beauty of places, or the temporary satisfaction of material things to find a taste of joy. These can be conduits through which the joy birthed in Jesus’ forgiveness flows, but they are not the source.

The actual, unchanging source of joy is the forgiveness kindled through Jesus’ finished work on the cross.

Likewise, our experience of joy fades in our forgetfulness. When we lose sight of Jesus as our primary source of joy, we start to feel a void that no person, place, or thing can fill.

📖 “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.” – Philippians 4:4

💫 Let’s spread the message: Joy is not something we find; it’s received from the One who is its origin. Let this Advent be a time of rediscovering joy in Jesus. 💫
